Our Story

I didn’t grow up dreaming of being a builder. In fact, I started my career as a Systems Engineer at IBM. But in 2012, after flipping a house with my dad—who’s a retired contractor—I realized there was something powerful about taking an overlooked property and turning it into someone’s dream home.

Renovo Homes was born from that experience, and I’ve never looked back. What started as a part-time passion became a full-time calling just 9 months later. Building homes isn’t just what we do—it’s in our blood. My dad, my family, many of them are tradesmen and licensed contractors. It runs deep.

Why We Build in Coastal Carolina

Since 2009, I’ve called Wilmington home—and there’s no place I’d rather be. We live here. We build here. And we’re proud to contribute to the growth of New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender Counties.

Whether it’s a spec home in Boiling Spring Lakes, a downtown renovation, or a custom build by the beach, we’re helping reshape the landscape with homes that stand the test of time—and bring new life to the communities we love.

What We Build

Renovo Homes is not a wholesaler or a middleman. We’re direct buyers and licensed builders. We partner with our GC, who’s also a part-owner of the company, to handle everything from land acquisition to finished construction.

You won’t find us flipping contracts or listing homes for others. We build for our own portfolio—creating spec homes, custom builds, and beautiful renovations.

My wife and I live here in Wilmington with our two fur babies, Waylon and Macey. When we’re not walking jobsites, you’ll find us enjoying the local scenery, catching up with family, or traveling to take in new places and ideas.
