Our Story
Renovo Homes starts with a simple idea: build the kind of homes and neighborhoods we would be proud to stand behind. Renovo Homes is rooted in Wilmington, NC and focused on building homes the right way.
I did not grow up dreaming of becoming a builder. I started my career as a Systems Engineer at IBM. But in 2012, after flipping a house with my dad, who is a retired contractor, I realized there was something powerful about taking an overlooked property and turning it into someone’s dream home.
That experience changed everything.
Renovo Homes was born from that first project, and what started as a part-time passion became a full-time calling just nine months later. Building is not just what we do. It is part of who we are. My dad, my family, and many of the people around me are tradesmen and licensed contractors. It runs deep.

Renovo Homes is not a wholesaler or a middleman. We are direct buyers and builders.
We work closely with our general contractor, who is also a part-owner of the company, to handle the process from land acquisition to finished construction.
You will not find us flipping contracts or listing homes for other people. We buy land for our own projects and build for our own portfolio, creating spec homes, custom builds, and thoughtful renovations.

I personally lean toward retro-modern styles, but our builds are always shaped by the unique character of each area.
From breezy beach cottages to clean infill development, our goal is to create homes that fit the setting, the lifestyle, and the people who will live there.
No cookie-cutter projects. No national builder feel. Just clean, efficient, beautifully crafted homes.
Who We Are Beyond the Jobsite
My wife and I live here in Wilmington with our two fur babies, Waylon and Macey.
When we are not walking jobsites, you will usually find us enjoying the local scenery, spending time with family, or traveling to experience new places and ideas.
At the end of the day, we are people who love where we live, and we are proud to build for the people who are ready to call this place home too.
